Walt Disney World isn’t offering your typical amusement park food. Sure, you can get your chicken tenders and fries, but you can also get your Night Blossom over in Pandora. Sometimes the amount of options can be overwhelming, but fear not, as there is a cuisine for everyone on property. Whether you’d rather stick to Italian pizzas and pastas, or travel to a galaxy far, far away for their snacks, no one will leave hungry!
Take a trip around Walt Disney World to see what to put on your plate next trip!
Food and EPCOT are synonymous. When visiting the park you can’t go wrong with the abundance of options spotlighting exotic tastes and cultures that most park goers would not experience otherwise. With four “Worlds” to choose from (Celebration, Discovery, Nature, and Showcase) there truly is something for everyone.
Don’t miss Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria, the best pizza option on property! This Italy pavilion sit-down restaurant offers your favorite Italian meals including salads, pastas, and wood burning stove pizza. If you are with a large party, their Mezzo Metro pizza size offering is the perfect selection. The options for children are also reasonably priced and food they won’t turn away. Warning: once you eat here, pizza anywhere else at Disney will never taste the same.
If you are looking for a quick-service option that will leave you full, yet not feeling heavy, check out Lotus Blossom Café in the China pavilion. With well-balanced combo options like the Orange Chicken or Vegetable Stir Fry, this is something to look forward to, even on a hot park day.
While trekking through Adventureland, make a pit-stop at the Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen. Not only will the staff make you laugh with their one-liners, but the food is truly that good. Ordering these classic Jungle Cruise themed dishes is half the fun - I’m looking at you “Tastes like Chicken” Because it is! Don’t forget to ask for the Pao De Queijo (Brazilian Cheese Bread) off the “not so secret menu” for an appetizer.
One of the highlights of Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the ability to step inside the movie. What better way to fully immerse yourself than eating with Andy’s pals at Roundup Rodeo BBQ. The park’s newest set-price, sit-down restaurant shrinks down guests, but offers larger-than-life portions! You’ll leave more stuffed than Toy Story’s own Ducky and Rabbit when you try the bread service, greens, platter of protein (smoked meats or plant-based trio), side offerings for everyone, whimsical desserts, and themed drinks for both kids and adults. Although this dining service may be on the pricier side for some, the atmosphere and food make it well worth the splurge. Make sure you play along when Andy’s coming!
If you’d rather eat something hand-held, head over to Batuu and indulge in the galaxy’s best wraps at Ronto Roasters. Both the meat and plant-based options are out of this world with flavor.
After exploring the savannas of Africa, head over to the jungles of Asia and try the Yak & Yeti. The Nepalense-styled interior pairs well with the asian inspired meals. The small plates are perfect starters to one of the largest menus on property. The main entrees include noodles and bowls with a variety of proteins, along with meats and plant-based options from the grill and wok.
Some of the most reasonably priced lunch and dinner options for quick-service can be found in Pandora at Satu’li Canteen. The bowl options are well-rounded with protein and vegetables. Pro Tip: The famous Cheeseburger Steamed Pods - Bao Bun can be purchased from the children’s menu as well for a fraction of the price! The seating area of the canteen also offers a respite from the busy and hot outdoors.
When most think about Disney Springs, the first thought that comes to mind are the shops. Don’t feel that in order to experience the full Disney dining package you have to stay at the parks or the hotels. Disney Springs has some of the best meals on property.
Frontera Cocina offers authentic Mexican cuisine from start to finish. The Tortilla Soup prepares your tastebuds for your flavorful meal ahead. The tacos and entrees are familiar foods dressed in unique and tasty offerings. You can’t go wrong with any choice on the menu.
If you are looking for a secret, air travel themed restaurant try Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante. From the outside you would never know what awaits you as you pass through the main doorway to the dining room. Vintage travel theming creates an atmosphere unlike any in Disney Springs. Not only are the entrees delicious, especially the pasta offerings like the Torchio Alla Vedure, but there are drinks for everyone, including non-alcoholic options. Saluti to that!
Utilize one of the many transportation options Disney offers to head over to some of the hotels on property to experience high-quality food and drinks.
With one of the best rooftop views, Toledo - Tapas, Steak, & Seafood at Coronado Springs is certainly dinner and a view. Spanish style offerings to target include the Rioja-Braised Chorizo and the Marinated Hanger Steak (one of the most flavorful steak options on property). This dinner won’t leave you disappointed. Not to forget the list of over 50 wines offered!
Make your way along the relaxing area of Crescent Lake to the Yacht Club and enjoy Ale & Compass. This sit-down restaurant is a must-go for the citrus butter alone that comes with the Parker House Rolls and Spreads! Staying true to its New England roots, the menu features seafood options, but also something for those that would rather have other proteins or plant-based meals. Close proximity to EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios allows you to enjoy the parks before or after your meal as well.
Cheers to great food and drinks ready to be served at Walt Disney World!
