Alton Towers Resort has announced that the world’s-first Bluey coaster will be arriving at CBeebies Land, delighting fans.
The brand-new junior coaster will be themed on the TV phenomenon Bluey, which has garnered millions of fans around the world since launching in Australia in 2018.
The Emmy® Award-winning Bluey is the number one show on CBeebies in the UK and has been streamed over 770 million times since it launched on BBC iPlayer.
The smash-hit series follows Bluey - a lovable, inexhaustible, Blue Heeler dog, who lives with her Mum, Dad and her little sister, Bingo. Bluey uses her limitless energy to play games that unfold in unpredictable and hilarious ways, bringing her family and the whole neighbourhood into her world of fun.
The ride is set to bring Bluey’s joy and boundless energy to young fans and families in Spring 2026. It will join Alton Towers Resort’s existing Bluey offerings, including the popular Heeler family meet-and-greet and live stage show.
The arrival of the ride follows the opening of the Bluey themed hotel rooms in May 2024 as part of the resort’s 10-year anniversary celebrations for CBeebies Land - the UK’s first and only CBeebies land. After enjoying endless fun on the Bluey coaster, fans will be able to stay in the hotel rooms which bring to life Bluey and Bingo's bedroom - making Alton Towers Resort the ultimate haven for fans of Bluey.
Bluey - created and written by Joe Brumm and produced by the award-winning Ludo Studio for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and BBC Studios Kids & Family - is the latest name to join the fun-packed line up of rides in CBeebies Land.
CBeebies Land already includes popular rides such as Hey Duggee Big Adventure Badge, Andy’s Adventures Dinosaur Dig and JoJo & Gran Gran At Home, plus Go Jetters Vroomster Zoom ride, In the Night Garden Magical Boat Ride, Something Special Sensory Garden and Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure.
